Vacation

We were so lucky and blessed to be able to take a family vacation with Grammie to go see Val and Joe in Georgia. We left on April 29 and flew to Baltimore Maryland. We were able to go down to the Harbor and to Camden Yards and hear an Orioles game in full swing. It was too cold to go to the game. We had such a great time seeing the sights and also a scary light rail ride through some really scary areas of Baltimore. Some kids even threw big rocks and hit the train. It definitely was an experience.

On Thursday we flew the rest of the way and were able to see the cousins. They always have such a great time when they are together. They even made a cousins club that had rules and everything. It was so great. We went to Fort Pulaski and to Downtown Savannah and the Cotton Exchange. We got to ride the ferry across the Savannah river and everything. Of course the trip wouldn't be complete without some pralines. It was great. Brittan also lost a tooth while we were there (with a little help from Ellla!! Thanks sweet girl!!) We also had a late night trip on Friday night to the ER. It was very eventful.

On Saturday we were off to Hilton Head Island and an incredible beach house donated by some awesome people. Grammie even had her own condo and all the girls went over and spent the night with her. That takes a lot and they had a great time. Thanks grammie!! We had so much fun at the beach and in our own private pool. The island was beautiful and we loved it so much. There was Harbor town and the plantation we were on. We had a great time. The kids loved it and so did we. Jaxie was fascinated one night by a bug. It was a cockroach or coke-crotch as Ella calls them. We just had a great time. We were sad to leave and wish we could have stayed longer. The weather was great and it was great to just be together!! Thanks everyone for the wonderful time.
